Okay, so you pay a small fortune for your designer swimwear..now what? Wear it on weekends only? HECK NO! Here are some ways to incorporate your swimwear wardrobe into your everyday wear. My favorite? Adding a hat and chambray shirt to any of these!! Wear rompers as is and put on a pair of cute wedges and sunglasses and you’re good to go. Have a pair of high waisted shorts that you’re just not sure what to wear with? Put on a one piece and wear your shorts over it, it’s easy, quick and so trendy…throw on a plaid shirt to add some pattern and texture to your outfit. I wanted to share a quick beach tip that I recently found out about! Okay so I love going to the beach BUT I hate getting sandy. When you have kids, the sand can be a little bit of a challenge when you’re trying to hand out snacks and you are met with sandy little palms and fingers that have been building sand castles and moats all day. Well here’s a quick and easy essential that you can throw in your beach bag:
Yep, good old fashion baby powder. Sprinkle some on your skin and the sane comes right off!

Beach hair, don’t care. Want to get beach waves in your hair but don’t live near the beach? No problem! I found an awesome DIY beach hair spray that will give you that beachy look AND it smells amazing. This DIY beach wave hair spray is so easy to make and it will create those natural beach waves in your hair.
All you need is:
1 TBS. Coconut Oil (I absolutely love coconut oil and use it for everything. Cooking, baking, face washes and now hair. You can grab coconut oil at any grocery store)
1/2 TBS. of Sea Salt and 1/2 TBS. of Table Salt (if you don’t have both you can use any kind of salt just make sure there’s 1 TBS total)
1 TSP. of Pomade or Hair Gel
1 TBS. of leave in hair conditioner
1 CUP of water
1 Spray bottle
What to do:
1. Place coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and heat it up for 15 – 30 seconds in the microwave or until melted.
2. Mix in your salt mixture, pomade or hair gel, and leave in conditioner with your melted coconut oil
3. Heat your cup of water so it is hot (not boiling) and stir into coconut oil mixture
4.Transfer to spray bottle.
5. Spray generously onto damp hair and let dry for perfect, beachy waves!

Summer is right around the corner and I have made it my mission to wear more beach hats…not just to the beach but everywhere. Hats are such an amazing accessory that I always forget about. In the winter I was obsessed with scarves and in the summer my go to accessories are necklaces and cute shoes, but what about hats?! I put together an adorable summer date night outfit! The featured dress is by PilyQ. The PilyQ Sunbeam Rion Dress is a one size fit all halter dress that is fun but glamorous for your perfect date night outfit. Pair it off with a black Mudpie clutch to fit all your date night necessities (lipstick, cell phone, and money in case he’s cheap).
